River Park Youth Baseball is proud to present our 'Fall Ball Complete Player Development Clinic' - a signature event bringing two of the area’s top baseball instructors, both former college players and coaches, right here to our own fields.

We’re excited to host this year’s Complete Player Development Clinic, right here at Ciavarella Field! This is a rare chance for our players to work with college-level coaches who bring championship experience and a proven track record of developing athletes from youth baseball to the minor leagues.

This clinic is gauged towards our players aged 10 and under.

    •    For those curious, College Preparation & Recruiting

Clinic Dates:
    •    Sept 21 9:00am-11:00am – Led by Coach Caselli                    
    •    Sept 28 9:00am-11:00am – Riverpark Coaches
    •    Oct 5 9:00am-11:00am – Led by Coach Caselli
    •    Oct 12 9:00am-11:00am – Coaches Hammer & Caselli
    •    Oct 19 9:00am-11:00am – Coaches Hammer & Caselli

Cost: $110: This will include a River Park Fall Ball T-Shirt, please make sure you include your players shirt size when you sign up. Payment can be sent by Venmo to @RiverParkBaseball (put your players name and "Clinic" in the comment line) or you can make a check out to River Park Youth Baseball and bring it to the first session.

About Coach Hammer

Josh Hammer is the Director of Player Development for Trosky Ed Tech and the host and producer of the YouTube show Trosky 365 Live, where he sits down each week with decorated Division I coach Greg Moore and other top professional coaches and guests. Hammer played college ball and has coached players from youth baseball to college standouts and minor league professionals, including one of the top summer baseball programs in the country — a team that went 45-7 and won the 2021 California State Championship, where he served as an assistant coach. That season, his pitching staff posted a league-best 2.24 ERA. He also recently launched the Trosky Academy Virtual School Program, bringing elite training and life skills coaching to players everywhere.

About Coach Caselli

Matt Caselli is a former college player and coach with extensive experience at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. He has coached in the competitive Northwoods League and is known for his expertise in outfield play, hitting, and the mental side of the game. Caselli’s ability to connect with players, break down skills, and build confidence has helped athletes elevate their game and prepare for success at higher levels of competition.

Call to Action: Coach Hammer and Coach Caselli encourage any parents or family members who have interest in coaching to come out and participate in the clinic. They view this event as an opportunity to help strengthen the River Park Youth Baseball community, and are happy to share their coaching philosophies with anyone interested. There will be players from Sacramento City College who will also be assisting the coaches.
