Dear RPYB Families,
As we finalize plans for the upcoming baseball season, one of our top priorities is ensuring that every team has strong, supportive leadership. To make that happen, we are looking for volunteers who are willing to step in and serve as a team manager.
The manager is the head coach responsible for leading the team, planning practices, teaching fundamental skills, and making game decisions such as lineups and positioning. The manager communicates with parents and the league, ensures a safe and positive environment, and helps players develop confidence, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. They are also expected to understand and follow all league rules and guidelines. In short, the manager guides the overall experience for the team both on and off the field.
If you are interested in serving as a team manager or would like more information about what the role involves, please reach out to the player agent of the respective division you are interested in managing by November 30, 2025.
Please note, that the number of managers needed is based on the number of teams per division and not all individuals interested in being a manager will be assigned a team. Additionally, if you are interested in being an assistant coach, we will have more information once the team managers have been selected.
